Every morning, campers will dive into the heart of farm life with essential chores and animal husbandry—feeding our lively livestock, collecting fresh eggs, and learning the dedicated care required to keep a working farm thriving. The focus of this week’s session shifts to the incredible journey of our food, focusing on food collection and preservation. Campers will move from field to kitchen, learning to harvest seasonal bounty at its peak and learning timeless preservation techniques like canning, drying, and fermenting. This session teaches participants how to reduce food waste and build a sustainable pantry, giving them the skills to enjoy the farm’s magic long after the summer sun sets.
