Inside a large barn with a wooden timber frame and dirt floor, several children sit and relax on top of large, round hay bales. Two adults are also present, one standing and one sitting on a bale. A large white dog stands in the foreground, and a smaller black and white dog lies nearby. The open side of the barn looks out onto a sunlit green field and trees.

Welcome to The Barnyard Brigade Week!

Calling all young adventurers! Join the Barnyard Brigade, an action-packed summer journey designed specifically for the curious and engaged child. Participants will dive headfirst into farm life—tending to our friendly animals, playing on giant haybales, and embarking on daily "missions" through sun-drenched pastures and secret woodland forests. Our focus project for the week is constructing a new shade structure for the grazing animals in our lower pasture. We will be building the structure and installing a rain-catchment system to ensure our furry friends stay cool and comfortable during the gorgeous but hot summer. It is a week of meaningful work and active play, where kids see firsthand how their efforts help the farm flourish.
