Welcome to the Planting for the Planet Week!

Throughout this five-day journey, young participants will start each morning by embracing the responsibilities of animal husbandry, providing hands-on care and feedings for our sheep, resident pigs, and the flock in our mobile chicken coops.

This week’s specialized focus centers on a transformative "Edible Landscape" project, where campers will work together to plant a variety of fruit trees and design a vibrant edible hedgerow. Using select plants specifically chosen to attract vital pollinators while also creating a beautiful landscape, children will learn how to create a biodiverse habitat that supports both the farm and the local ecosystem.

We expect a week filled with laughter and meaningful work as we combine active exploration with ecological lessons, showing children the rewarding journey of transforming a seedling into a sustainable food source.
