A photograph shows a narrow, rocky creek flowing through a rural field under a blue sky with some clouds. The trees and bushes lining the creek are bare, with no leaves, indicating it is late autumn, winter, or early spring. The creek bed is full of rocks and pebbles, and the banks are eroded in places, showing soil and rocks. On the left, there are several tall, bare trees with thick trunks. In the background, a large, dark mountain rises against the horizon. The overall impression is of a quiet, natural scene in a cool season.

Welcome to Guardians of the Banks Week!

This week is where environmental stewardship meets hands-on adventure! Every day begins with the active duties of a junior farmer, as children engage in animal husbandry by tending to our sheep, pigs, and chickens. The week’s highlight is our immersive "Living Waters" conservation project; campers will work as a team to stabilize a part of a creek bed using strategic rock placement and native plantings designed for maximum soil retention. This unique program empowers kids to become protectors of our waterways, blending the excitement of outdoor physical outdoor play with meaningful conservation work through the science of soil retention and erosion control.
