Get ready for a hands-on adventure at Farm Camp, where every morning begins with the rewarding pulse of farm life! Campers will start their day immersed in essential animal husbandry and chores—from feeding the livestock and checking on the health of our herds to collecting fresh eggs and moving animals to new pastures. The focus of this week’s session is a meaningful sustainability project: constructing a rainwater catchment system for an animal shelter in one of our pastures. Through this project, participants will learn the principles of gravity and plumbing while building a system that provides fresh, clean water for our animals, teaching them the importance of environmental stewardship and regenerative agriculture in a practical, real-world setting. It’s a week of hard work, new skills, and the pride of leaving a lasting, positive impact on our farm community.
